How to design the location of fountains according to different environments

There are many types of fountains, which can be roughly divided into: ordinary decorative fountains, fountains combined with sculptures, water sculptures, self-control fountains, etc. In general, fountains are often located at the focal points or endpoints of the axis of buildings or squares. Depending on the environmental characteristics, some fountain landscapes can also be created to freely decorate indoor and outdoor spaces. Fountain should be placed in a sheltered environment to maintain water flow. 
The forms of fountain pools include natural style and whole form. The spraying position can be located at the center of the pool, or it can be biased towards one side or arranged freely. The form, scale, and size ratio of the fountain should be determined based on the spatial scale of the fountain's location. 
Open spaces, such as in front of stations, park entrances, etc., often use shaped fountain pools. The pool should be large, the water spray should be high, and the lighting should not be too fancy 
Narrow areas, such as street turns, often have rectangular fountain pools; 
In traditional gardens, fountain pools are mostly natural water sprays, which can be made into drops, springs, etc., mainly to show the natural water state; 
In lively places such as some small areas in parks, the form of fountains is free and can be combined with various decorative ornaments such as sculptures. Generally, there should not be too many changes. According to the physiological characteristics of human visual field, for landscapes such as fountains, sculptures, flower beds, etc., a vertical viewing angle of 30 degrees and a horizontal viewing angle of 45 degrees have a good visual field. The suitable viewing distance for a fountain is 3.3 times the height of the water spray. Of course, it is possible to shorten the line of sight and create an upward looking effect.
